Internal Sales Administrator
Job Purpose
Taropa Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Internal Sales Administrator who will assist the branches and sales reps in the administration of orders, communicating ETA’s, processing back orders and provide general support to the team. A Sales Administrator serve as a point of contact for customer queries regarding order status and deliveries. An efficient Sales Administrator contributes to quality customer service and assists in meeting sales targets.
Duties/Tasks
The duties include the following, but other duties may be assigned from time to time:
- Ensure invoices and POD’s are handed to the office administrator on a daily basis.
- Assisting clients telephonically and providing order feedback.
- Quotes
- Assisting Walk in Customers
- Assisting External Sales People on the Road with Quotations
- Pricing Requests
- ERP System
- Product Knowledge
- Assists fellow colleagues with the support of their clients during illness, annual leave or general unavailability.
- Liaise with the logistics department to ensure timely deliveries, processing and managing of client orders.
- Keeping sales consultants and customers updated and informed of ETA’s on orders when stock is unavailable.
- Maintain sales consultant order spreadsheet and provide constant feedback and communication to the sales consultant.
- Prepare filing and ensure all paperwork and supporting documents are in order before handing them over to the office administrator.
- Arrange and follow up on couriers and collections.
- Maintain and update sales and customer records
- Ordering stock from procurement department
- Ensure data accuracy in orders and invoices.
- Providing full administration support.
- Develop monthly sales reports
- Invoicing and crediting clients.
- Answering incoming calls
- Assists with Stock Takes.
Essential Requirements Of The Post
Minimum educational, qualifications and experience that are required to perform the job competently.
Knowledge & Experience
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12) – Essential
- Minimum one year counter sales experience in CCTV – Essential
- Proven work experience in Sales Admin – Essential
- Strong client care & customer service experience – Essential
- Knowledgeable with Order Management
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
